Usage limits are tracked by IP address
Limits reset daily at midnight UTC
Attempting to circumvent limits (VPNs, proxies, automation) may result in permanent IP ban
Client-side tools (JSON formatter, Base64 encoder, etc.) have no usage limits

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
Submit content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Submit personally identifiable information (PII) or sensitive data into AI tools
Use the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or malicious code
Resell, redistribute, or commercialize the Service without permission

5. User Content and Data

When you use our tools:

Client-side tools: Your data is processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers
AI-powered tools: Your prompts are sent to OpenRouter for processing but are not stored by us
You retain all rights to content you submit
You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you submit
We do not claim ownership of your content

6. Third-Party Services

Our AI-powered tools use OpenRouter to access various AI models. By using these tools, you acknowledge that your prompts are processed by third-party AI providers. We are not responsible for how third-party services handle your data. Please review OpenRouter's terms and privacy policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, text, graphics, and functionality, is owned by PromptTools.dev and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement of third-party rights

AI-generated content may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies. Always review and verify AI outputs before use.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PromptTools.dev SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

Your use or inability to use the Service
Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
Any bugs, viruses, or malicious code transmitted through the Service
Any errors or omissions in content or results
Any conduct or content of third parties using the Service
